Dundee has one of Europe’s largest tyre plants and recently its owner Michelin announced a £52 million pound investment in it. The investment drastically increases the size of the plant and aims to increase overall output by 30%.
Watching it quickly grow, I popped down and took some aerial photos of the new extension. You can see the external facade (on the right) has nearly been completed.
